The Crown Jewel Club is the club's major hands-on volunteer program, providing after-school classes for fifth-grade girls at Trinity Elementary School in Los Angeles.  The event was hosted by KNBC News anchor Colleen Williams and weathercaster Fritz Coleman, who introduced several CJC graduates and spoke about the importance of the program to changing the lives of young girls.  Over 100 guests were treated to lunch at the Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach, and the event was sponsored by Shade and by The Party Goddess, an event planning company.
