Soroptimist
International of Oxnard joins with local
business, Ding Master’s by Carl, in the annual
downtown Oxnard Holiday Parade. Along the parade
route were 4 public announcement stands and the
local Time Warner Cable Company. The announcers
publicized the Soroptimist club, its mission and
local past fundraising event, Art 4 Heart which
raised $25,000 for women’s heart health issues,
to approximately 20,000 parade viewers.
The
media televised the parade repeatedly on the
local cable station during the month of December
to a home audience of over 190,000.

An elegant
evening benefiting St. John's Regional Medical
Center and St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital.
This first annual Art 4 Heart event featured
exhibits by local artists, fine wine, gourmet
food, and live and silent auctions. Proceeds
will benefit women's heart health through St.
John's Healthcare Foundation |
